P90x – The uphill struggle with food and time.

Here’s how yesterday’s nutrition played out.

I am so thrilled that, for the first time, I managed to get my protein up over my carbs! It wasn’t by much, but it’s been a struggle.

I have to admit that I haven’t been doing Ab Ripper X very consistently. I have been working out in the mornings and doing the main routine. Then I look at the time and have to get out the door. I fully intend on doing ARX in the evening, but things get away from me. Going to need to work on that.I didn’t get up this morning for Legs and Back. So I’ll do the whole thing tonight.

I baked up a batch of Alton Brown’s protein bars last night for snacks (YUM!). They do have considerable carbs in them, but they are filling and I don’t usually feel the need for a supplemental snack with them. So we’ll see how they work this week.
