P90x – Day 16 – Give me Fuel, Give me Fire…

I have come to the realization that it’s more important for me to focus my energy on actually working out than posting about it. I also figure (if anyone actually reads this blog) you don’t want to be bored with descriptions of a workout program you may not be familiar with. That’s not to say I am not going to post to my fitness category. This is still going to be a prominent part of my site. Instead of trying to make this a daily journal (something I’ve never been good at), I’m going to try to use these posts to share discoveries or observations about fitness as I progress through my journey. P90x – Day 12 … Under Pressure

So, for anyone who’s been following my blog, you’re probably saying to yourself, “Man! Joel flaked out again and gave up after only two weeks!” No way. I’ve just been so super busy, I’ve been spending all of my spare motivation on P90x and not on blogging. Sorry, priorities.

P90x Day Eight! workout, rest, repeat

I slacked on the blogging this weekend, but not in working out. Well, okay…only half slacked on the working out. Friday’s social excursion impacted the whole weekend. As I said before, I managed to get Legs & Back with Ab Ripper X in on Saturday. On Sunday, Mandie was sick and I got sucked into the warm bed-laziness. I should have done X Stretch or YogaX, but I didn’t. Monday morning, my arms were STIFF! Not “sore”. I could barely will my arms to straighten out, my forearms and biceps were seriously bound up so tight, I walked around with robot arms all day.
